Emma contacted me well over a year ago to plan her dream wedding to her groom, Austin.  We booked the date for March 11, 2017 at the Gatlinburg Mansion.

The day arrived with snow flurries sprinkling like pixie dust over the area.  I like to think of it as snow showers of blessings! I love it when I am booked for several hours to capture a wedding as it gives me a chance to have more time to get to know the couple and their families as I take photo's of all of the special moments throughout the day.  My favorite part was a quiet moment before Emma went out to reveal her dress to her family where I said a simple prayer of blessing over the couple and their life together.   The ceremony was beautiful with the backdrop of the Smoky Mountains showing off in all of their grandeur.  Rev. Tom Orange, the officiant, performed the short but beautiful ceremony out on the large extended deck of the log mansion. After the ceremony it was time to shoot the formals!  The couple had a tee pee with white rose garland set up on the cabin lawn and it made for such a beautiful addition to the portraits!  The DJ Corey of Music in Motion soon announced the new couple and the first dance commenced...Emma & Austin's sweet little girls joined in on the 1st dance for a sweet 1st family dance.  The groom and his best man are chef's by profession and they were cooking up some AMAZING food for the wedding guests and everyone had a great time enjoying the gourmet taco bar.  I can't say I've ever seen a groom in the kitchen cooking up the goodies in his bow tie!  The wedding toast was given by Emma's Dad, Maid of Honor and Best Man were beautiful and emotional and you can see the love this extended family has.  Emma & Austin cut their wedding cake and fed each other the first bite politely and lovingly...no cake smash here!   My evening with this beautiful couple and their family ended with photographing the Mother / Son and Father / Daughter dances.  I had such a great time working with both Emma & Austin, their bridal party and families. Choosing photo's to share has certainly been a challenge!  Thank you, Emma & Austin, as well as your family and friends for including Rich Blessings Photography in your beautiful Smoky Mountain Cabin Wedding.
